What the council does

Three responsibilities, all of them on record

When a product makes a sacred claim, the council examines relevant texts, ingredients, methods, and ritual context.

Council members examine proposed certification standards and record their guidance before the standards are used.

The council can advise on difficult cases, so commercial pressure does not quietly weaken a review.
